GRACE FLANNERY, MS, PCC, is an executive and team coach, trainer and facilitator dedicated to the cultivation of exceptional leadership for individuals, teams and organizations.
Grace works with senior executives to develop their leadership “from the inside out” – ensuring that their actions are grounded in wisdom, aligned with their values and powered by purpose. Her clients gain skills to create and sustain powerful relationships, motivate from purpose, and produce results. Grace applies her expertise in organizational development, relationship dynamics and change management to build clients’ capacity for skillful execution of their leadership agenda.
Grace is the founder and president of Leading Spirit, Inc, specializing in leadership and organizational development, change management, and the realization of clients’ goals and dreams. Grace and her associates work with boards, staff and teams to improve productivity and at the same time, make work more fun and rewarding!
Grace has over 25 years experience in coaching, consulting, management and board positions with organizations in philanthropy, the arts, education, trade associations, social equity, health and social services. As a leadership coach and trainer, she has worked with executives at corporations such as IBM, Marriott Hotels, and Cisco, as well as nonprofit organizations including the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, CompassPoint Non Profit Services, Asian and Pacific Islander Wellness Center, Physicians for Social Responsibility, New Leaf Services and Horizons Foundation. Earlier work with groups as diverse as the California Building Industry Association and the National Organization for Women give her a deep insight into the workings of advocacy, marketing and social movements.
Grace received a BA in Chemistry from Manhattanville College (cum laude) and a Masters of Science degree in physical chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana. She received coaching certifications from the Coaches Training Institute and the International Coach Federation. She has studied Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching with the Center for Right Relationship and World Work/Process Work with Arnold and Amy Mindell. She draws on her graduate work in physics and chemistry to integrate their work with quantum mechanics, spirituality and psychology.
Grace conducts trainings in co-active coaching and relationship systems coaching around the globe, as well as leadership development workshops for organizational clients throughout North America. She is a senior faculty member with the Coaches Training Institute and the Center for Right Relationship and recently joined the faculty of the California Agricultural Leadership Foundation. JULIE DAVIDSON-GÓMEZ, MA, CPCC, is a certified coach, facilitator, and consultant. She collaboratively creates opportunities for reflection, recognition, and transformation within individuals and the community benefit organizations they lead. Julie sees herself as a magnet, using her co-active coaching expertise to identify clients’ strengths and draw out their greatness.
Julie brings fifteen years of work and research experience in organizations to Leading Spirit, Inc. She particularly enjoys working with young and emerging leaders of community-based organizations, and witnessing the power that is unleashed when people develop their strengths and work from core values. Julie also plays an instrumental role in establishing coaching projects as components of leadership development programs and progressive philanthropy. Her work with the LeaderSpring Executive Fellowship and AEPOCH Fund continue to inform the sector.
Prior to becoming a coach, Julie led grantmaking initiatives at the Women’s Foundation of California, and statewide policy and advocacy projects at the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California. She is a 2001 graduate of the Women’s Health Leadership program offered by the Public Health Institute. Her educational and professional background is in the social sciences, public health, and human rights. She holds a Masters degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona, and was certified as a coach through the Coaches Training Institute. Julie is a trained and authorized facilitator of Team Coaching International’s diagnostic tool.

LEIGH MARZ, ACC, ORSCC, is a certified team coach, trainer, facilitator, and consultant. She is passionate about increasing the resilience and sustainability of public benefit organizations. Leigh is skilled in guiding individuals and teams through times of major transformation. She ignites possibilities while grounding them in measurable outcomes.
Leigh brings seventeen years of experience in public benefit organizations to Leading Spirit, Inc. As a former Executive Director, she blends years of experience leading organizations with her knowledge of systems, teams, and leadership. She particularly enjoys working with teams and leaders in innovative, pioneering and conscious work culture environments. Her diverse clientele includes executives, non-profit teams, philanthropists, high-level government teams, business partners, boards of directors, management teams, and entrepreneurs.
Leigh’s educational and professional background is in ecology, public health, and human rights. Leigh is a faculty member of the Center for Right Relationship where she earned her system coaching certification. Leigh received co-active coach and leadership training through the Coaches Training Institute. She is also an authorized facilitator and strategic partner with Team Coaching International.
Leigh and her family live on a hilltop overlooking the San Francisco Bay Area. She and her family enjoy world travel and outdoor adventures. Leigh is a visual artist, dancer and a humor writer.
